    Hello, my name is Amanda! I am a freelance photographer currently based in Austin, Texas.

    I enjoy shooting all types of photography--from weddings to sports, food, concerts, events, street life and creative portraiture. I'm currently attending the University of Texas at Austin studying Photojournalism and American Studies, so I love to capture real candid moments as well as create artistic interpretations through portraits. My hope is that every image I create expresses a story, whatever I am covering.

    I have experience working for The Daily Texan, UT's nationally award winning collegiate newspaper, as well as for The Cactus Yearbook. In the fall, I will begin working for Texas Performing Arts as a student photographer. I am also currently working on a year-long project: a creative photographic thesis for my senior year at UT about women's perceptions of their own bodies in America. I look forward to sharing my work with you along the way.
